My interest shifted a year ago. I competed all of last year in SM locally, but that was on stock suspension and wheels with 245-width r-comps. Over the winter, I chose my race suspension, race rims, and race tires, which you can now see in the vid and other pics I've posted. I set the car up for road racing actually, but it still does well in auto-x, so I compete in that, too.
I agree that road racing destroys auto-x - that's just my opnion - and I won't just be randomly racing whoever happens to be on the track. I will be running time trials with NASA in the TTS class. It's not full wheel-to-wheel racing, since I don't have a cage yet, but that's where I'm headed in the future. You don't need an all out race car and crew to actually compete in "road racing" thankfully, but it does cost a lot more than auto-x for the most part.

This is a retarded comment. Do you road race? In what league and with what car? Road racing takes way more money and time to compete in than AutoX, and the two cannot even be compared to. AutoX is a fun thing to get into if you don't have money for an all out race car and crew, and money for entering actual races. If you go to track days and randomly race who ever happens to be on the track, that is NOT racing. It might just be me, but has Warrtalon's interest completely shifted from drag racing to autox? =)
