Auto-X Launch

I posted a write-up with a full in-car vid in the Motorsports forum, but I didn't want the general populace to miss out on this close-up vid with good sound. I was lucky that someone thought to do this and then post it up for me...

Nice, looks like you hit that 1st corner really hard.

 

I don't know - I just do it by feel. That wasn't a full drag launch, because I have a lot of negative camber, highly inflated tires, and about 10 feet of runout before tripping the wires. Due to those factors, I don't have to do a normal standing launch and can get rolling before hammering it.

AutoX is to addicting for me, its going to turn out just like nitrous if I ever try it. Hopefully next few months I will get out to an event.

 

Car looks so sweet!!! I compared your old in car videos versus the new setup and I also watched some of Trevor Jones's in car vids (very entertaining vids) and your new setup definately looks a lot firmer, as it should!!!

 

Interesting, you're the second person to do that. I should do the same to see the difference. I hadn't really thought about it, because I was thinking it wouldn't be so obvious from the in-car perspective, but I guess it is..
