mods:
helix 272's
helix gears
megan mani (dont ask)
stock 9.8
megan o2
turbo back w/cd
aem intake
tuned via xede

note: boost was also tuned via exede to 22psi (torque was low for this reason also)

 

WoW, that is very good with a 9.8 hotside. You should really pick up a IX turbo. Also, did the Helix cam gears do anything for you?

 

i felt so myself, that is why in the begining of the post i tried to chang his mind alittle.

and what do you mean by "do anything for me"

 

Did the cam gears help you make anymore power? I have been told that they are really not needed.

 

i am not sure, i installed the camms and gears at the same time and then got tuned. i didnt have time to play w/ cam gear setting but im sure they made a difference.

very nice pieces i might add, have not budged at all after maybe a good 8k of beatings!

 

HAHAHA, I know, I beat on my car pretty bad. My car was over boosting to 35psi when I am only tuned for 27psi.

 

BabyEvo just got tuned last Saturday with Helix 272's and cam gears. He had pretty good results. Not sure # wise.

 

Ah ha! So you're moosa's friend! Heard quite a bit about you. Moosa's car was tuned by my friend while he was here doing my tune, and moosa mentioned that you're keen to get yours done soon as well
