Problem with my Zero Lift Kit (Front air dam)
Interesting, I might do that... The plastic piece is broken so I may remove the rubber dam entirely and fab some metal brackets instead so the front bumper doesn't droop or anything.
Could you just jack the front end up and take some pics so I understand exactly what you did? I just need to make it look "not broken" if I can't replace the parts.

When u take the whole undertray off u will see there is like 2 inches of it that goes ABOVE the very bottom of the bumper. U drill and bolt the L-brackets up to that. So when u put it back on the whole undertray is supported by the L-brackets.
I would have to pull mine off to show u. I will if ya need me to.
But, if ur gona sell the car why even worry about it. Highly doubt anyone will even get down to the ground, and look at it.
This is interesting. I bought my Evo IX MR used with 24k miles, and I did notice that it looks like the previous owner had hit a parking block or something, the underside of the front lip is mangled, and even the bottom few coils on the FMIC are bent a bit (maybe 1/8 of an inch or so, not much). If there is an easy way to fix this without replacing my front bumper assembly, I would love to know.
It's pretty cold here in Michigan now, and I haven't actually gotten under there to get a good look at it yet from that angle.

Same thing I scraped my bumper once and it was all deformed. The problem is the screws holding it on are on a very thin piece of rubber, so when you scrape it they pull through and you can't fix it because there's not enough room to make another (non-ripped) hole. I'm considering taking mine off as well, stupid design.
