And are those others you speak of running the tial on the stock ecu also driving around without a wideband?

I was just curious on the a/f. i will be going with the tial as well but not until I get the aem as there is no point right now. The crushed 1g with leak stop kit has been tested to hold 50lbs of boost....

Nope no tune what so ever, althou the shop i had install it was willing to fix anything happening because of the TiAL. like raising idle and other things, (so i went n test drove the car and my idles dont drop below 800) (on rare occasions when slowing donw fast it bounces off of like 500-800 up n down) but never stall. The car drives better than when i had my HKS POS (Which btw is for sale )

I will say that VTA on the '05+ really has no side effects unless you care about the .02 seconds of richness between shifts, Pure Player, i too was looking at upgrading to a Tial over my POS HKS, do you think it is really worth it or what?

You mention 05'+, wats the difference from the 03-04 the helps the 05 with side effects?

Dont care what you do to your car so no flamming from me, but do you have any fluttering issues or partal throttle surges? Any bucking or anything. I am looking into a better DV. I think the metal stocker isnt effecient enough to vent 26psi.

Usually the stock turbo will be prone to surging, most of these BB kits on the market have antisurge ports which pretty much stopped the problem.

I forget what it is in ECUflash that my friend accually copied off mine to make his '03 work with a VTA but i do know that it has something set so that the revs wont drop super low when you push the clutch in, like your running the stock valve.

If you want a DV get the forget, for me it was between the tial and forge and i went with the tial, which for me the problem is having to weld on the flange it just makes it more of a hassal and ocne i do that, im stuck

maybe surge isnt the word im lookin for. I have good boost control, rather on throttle lifts i get throttle hang and im starting to think a little boost is getting past the TB. I just think that after say 25psi the metal stocker isnt good enough. But shoot i may be wrong!?!
