OMG, TiAL on Stock ECU? Yeh, I did it.
maybe surge isnt the word im lookin for. I have good boost control, rather on throttle lifts i get throttle hang and im starting to think a little boost is getting past the TB. I just think that after say 25psi the metal stocker isnt good enough. But shoot i may be wrong!?!
I just started driving my car on the Tial, stock MAF. I wantd the Tial because it holds boost and sounds great. I will eventually get EMS.
Anyway, when I first started the driveability was awful. Stalling almost, bucking during mid throttle, awful. I then switched to a stiffer spring and the car great now. I really dont care if the car runs rich between shifts. Who the hell cares?

I'm not knocking Tial's products at all, they make great stuff, but keep an eye on your fuel mileage.
Watch it go down the toilet!
Yes, your car will run THAT rich!

Yes TiAL makes GREAT turbo accessories and I used their products exclusively on many turbo applications that allowed a VTA valve.
Unfortunately the Evo does not like VTA valves (without switching to a MAP system) so I chose the Forge RS Recirc. Holds boost like a champ, easily adjustable, and sounds great.
I'm sure the new TiAL Recirc piece will be a great unit when it comes out too.
