So I was driving on a two lane freeway at around 70... There were two semi trucks next to each other and I was behind one of them. His load was full of rocks and they were shooting out and hitting my car so I hit the brakes and got behind the other truck who then blew out a tire that slammed into my car, demolishing my air splitter, front bumper, Fmic, and hood... life sucks. I am looking at it now like what should I do?

I am thinking since my stock fmic has a hole in it now, I will go aftermarket and since my bumper is jacked, I will get a IX front bumper. Any thoughts would be helpfull. Thanks guys!

damn....can you claim that? Definately go with the IX bumpe with the added spoiler...it really sets off the front end. I hear that there isn't much room behind the IX's bumper but I think PERRIN makes a real nice Intercooler that might fit without modification.

 

Any engine damage going on? is it only your front end that is busted? how about your front end frame is it holding up fine? Yeah i would get those aftermarket stuff now better then rebuy stock and with a bit more money go bigger and better .. ^^ good luck on your choice.

Just be thankful you are ok. An 18 wheeler put me in a wheelchair last month while driving my work truck. I will be better in a couple of months but it sucks for now. Had I been in the evo I would have avoided it totally.

 

nope, fing semi just kept driving, I was hoping he would blow out the other one and I would catch himdown the freeway. worst part was, this happend at like 130am with about 2 hours left on the drive... I had to get under the car and rip off the rest of my wind splitter. (it hurt my feelings to have to do that to my car) I have heard that if I get another fmic wiht my mods I will lose power... is that true?

 

As long as you dont get the HUGE core one and the one from AMS suppose to be goood to for your mods, Nisei is good. aany small core is good
