Exactly...I told my insurance company at least twice that it was a Lancer EVOLUTION and the VIN on my policy is correct, so legally it's on them. I mean, how many ****ing hoops are we supposed to jump through, anyway??? I gave them the correct VIN, told them what kind of car it was (and my statements were all supposedly recorded). It's not MY fault if their computer lists that VIN as a Lancer ES! There's nothing else I can really do, because they go by the VIN.

I have GAP insurance just in case, though!
