RMR intercooler pipe kit pictures
I had a hard time visualizing this kit on rmr's web site b/c they had no pictures on if in the car - BUT - Now that I have it - I was amazed how good it is - its a very well made and well fitting kit - have not driven it yet so no idea how much power if any it gains - BUT it does look nice
Did it require the relocation or resizing of the battery for clearance? I know that Buschur's does.
I saw your trunk mount in your other post and just wondered it it was mandatory with the installation of the intercooler pipes.

Looks good though, how difficult was the install?

I leave the under shields off as it makes it easier to strap it to the dyno - - BUT the pipe kit would fit fine with the stock under shields

but i'm not exactly sure what upgrading the IC piping does for you... and how much $$$ did that entail...?

1 - it makes the boost response more crisp and accurate - - the rubber hoses buldge out slightly as you come on boost and then contract - it makes your boost fluxtuate - with this pipe set that feeling is gone
2 - The factory pipe going past the air meter was not working very well with the samco hose I was usuing and the RMR air fikter this pipe kit resolves that issue as all 3 pieces are designed to wrok together
3 - I may want to mount a NOS fogger - - I need a metal tube to mount that in
4- Its a straighter line for the air - less bends - - it makes more power - also becuase its bigger
I like it
800 bux for these hard pipe kits is such a rip-off. And to think, RalliArt charges about 1300 for theirs. I really like the HKS one but even with my wholesale discount it's still outrageous. I guess that's the price you have to pay for these things.
I hope Road Race makes parts for the evo soon. I remember it cost less than $250 to convert all my piping to the road race hard piping and it was about the same amount of piping as the evo.

What kind of modifications Do I need to do to install RMR interc. piping kit? It is a bolt on kit? Because once one guy told me that he had to weld some parts to install a Ralliart piping kit...
Can I intall RMR interc piping kit together with my stock air box?
