Its obnoxious in red - but at least no one will see it unless I am doing some 2f2f stunts

Hey Al,
Call the cops, someone stole your cat!

I have been considering one of the RMR braces. Didn't notice until I saw it on your car that it is actually manufactured from flat stock. Is it steel or aluminum and how rigid does it actually appear to be? Won't take much to improe over the factory pieces either way. How much does it weigh?ooks like it could be heavy if constructed from steel.

Are those spacers between the frame and the brace?

Its 1/4" bar stock steel. Its heavier than the two pieces it replaces. No spacers are needed for 3" downpipes with it. I installed the rear bar back on top of the RMR brace, just for a bit more bracing.

Oh... black does look better... heh...

Intersting idea - I did not try it without the spacers - - so you also have the rmr downpipe ?>? And also a great idea to add the rear bar - I think i may do that also - but this thing seems very stiff

Yep, I bought it direct from RMR back in April, one of my first mods. It is gloss black, and came without spacers. I had spacers on the stock ones that came with my Buschur exhaust, took em off when I installed the RMR brace.

I wasn't too happy with mine. When I installed, it was rubbing up against my RMR downpipe. I had to bend the bar a bit to get some space between the downpipe and bar.
