How about some additional install details, e.g. wire routing, AWG size, remote disconnect, etc...? Any more pics to show how it is positioned in the trunk? Is it a custom fab battery box or off-the-shelf piece?

Thanks

Its the summit racing polish alum box - its not too heavy - it has a seled cover with two flip locks

I have 1/0 monster power cable running up to a monster junction box you can see in the attached pic - I have two giant monster fuse blocks in the battery box

This mod really helped the handling - espacially after i did the flex!

so by the time it was done you didnt really lose any weight. you just moved it. the wire and the box would make up the weight savings. not trying to bash ya but why did you put it in the trunk? just curious.

It handles better with the 35 lbs weight removed off the front axel and some of that moved to the rear

Isn't there a lot more resistance in the wiring due to moving it in the back, it wasn't meant to be in the back so much of the amp flow might not have been calculated properly.

nice work, although 1 guage is way overkill. 4 guage is appropiate for the car. Also, only one 175 amp fuse is needed, why did you use 2?

Probably insignificant resistance at best. Wires tend to be pretty low resistance (that's why they're used for wiring and all), especially 1gauge....

Yea, I knew that was you. I should have said whats up. Oh well, I wish I was headed down there tonight, but I have work. Hopefully ill be able to make a trip up on wednesday. You should see if you can meet up with Incognito's red evo down there, he has also made some impressive low 12's passes that ive seen. Very impressive showings from the both of you. I'd love to see you guys run each other, it would be interesting. Anyways, if you go tonight, good luck.
