Yeah I read that this morning. I can see in some aspects of their assumption's that they may be correct but for end of the evolution... simply to early to say. Proverb dont judge a book by its cover. In the same light, the mk5 gti looking down a barrel of bad predictions and reviews over its trans (DSG! fun factor is through the roof!) and has since proved to deserve the name best yet. People generally dislike change. To get an idea on the new option of automatic DSG shifting in the X i would reccomend test driving a new GTI with DSG and hit some turns have a blast. I am exicted to see what the new X will bring and I will wait untill then to make my final opion.

 

Cool review. I agree that the Evo isn't for everyone since it is all about performance. That's what makes it so awesome!

This is my fav part of the whole thing,

Lancer does such a good job of transmitting every bump it drives over; in the EVO, we can read a newspaper simply by driving over it

Even IGN agrees the 9 is last real Evo. A sad day indeed for Mitsu 4G63 enthusiasts.
