I recently swapped my EVO VIII altezas for a pair of "red" EVO VII taillights, only they are a much lighter color red than I expected, almost pink. Can anyone else with these taillights confirm this? I can live with it, but am wondering if I got a bum set. Thanks.

 

I know what you mean. They are a kinda light red, but it's probably exaggerated by your black car. Let's see a pic.

 

the altezzas are really starting to grow on me... maybe it's because my Evo is silver.... a month ago I would have said that the altezzas would have been replaced with Evo7 lights, but now I think I will save that money towards an ecu - they don't look too bad...

 

Yeah, silver evos look pretty good with the altezzas, IMHO.

I have silver ,but still hate the boy racer taillights... It must be an old man thing

 

I like to think of myself as an old fart (32 yrs)... white trash hillbilly to boot... sure not into the whole ricer / street racer thing, but I gotta admit, those alteezas are growing on me on my silver... any other color, no way, but on silver, they are not so bad. I'll keep em, and spend my money on a little more power and 3 gal of 100 octane every tank,.

 

I have a silver Evo, and VII tails. They are not a bright red, but are far better than the altezztastic stock lights.
