it happened to me too after installing a TBE
all i did was disconnected the battery for 5 min, then reconnected, and the problem solved

Umm, search for "mechanical fix" in the how to forum, you'll find a way to fix the light.

what is happening now that you don't have a catalytic converter, is a bunch of junk that didn't used to get all the way to the second O2 sensor is now getting there and your ECU thinks the catalytic convertor has gone bad.

do the spark plug non-fouler fix or wire in an O2 Simulator, don't need an expensive O2 sim, I bought this one off ebay for $20, works perfect

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dual-...QQcmdZViewItem

If you want to totally remove the rear O2 sensor you need to get the additional resistor for $5 to simulate the heater

speedelement sells a mechanical fix for $13 shipped if you don't want to mess with drilling out spark plug anti foulers. it works great.

your cars fine just use the mechanical fix or just try the battery solution first.

your o2 sensor is reading way to much exhaust flow due to the restriction of your catalytic converter being cut out the picture. search the how-to section for a spark plug non-fouler to plug your o2 sensor in. It works.
