Rims or power upgrades?? what whould you get?

hey guys,
so i'm torn.
i have a white 05 Evo with SSL. i really wanted BBS SE since SE's came out. i've seen the rims up close when i've gone for oil changes at the dealership. i REALLY like them. i think they would look great on white car.

on another hand, since all i have on my car is a turboback, i was thinking of getting Zeitronix, MBC, tune, and maybe fuel pump.

price for both options (option 1: rims, option 2: mods) is about the same.
which option should i go with?
problem is that i'm getting a pretty good deal on SE wheels....and it wont last.

should i get the SE wheels now and wait to do power mods......or make evo faster and stick with stock wheels?

so come on guys WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?!
...and if u cant answer that, what would you do?

Jesus says,"Go for the power". Seriously, what is most important to you?

If it were me I would do some power mods. But thats not really the point. What do you want? More speed or nice shoes?

Those wheels you'll get tired of since after all they are stock. Power you won't get tired of, maybe only your wallet since with more power comes more gas

Yeah, just like glomeli says, you'll get tired of them. Especially after you see them on alot of other EVO's. You can never go wrong with adding more power.

get the bbs rims, then sell your rims and buy some performance mods. you won't be able to get everything on that list but at least a fuel pump and a wideband.

road race, dont you think it will be PITA to sell evo 8 rims? i'd rather keep them then go through the hastle.

BBS SEs come with tires. 90-95% thread.

you could try posting them on a dsm website. I know several dsm'ers that think those wheels are gold. you can have them listed as "will not ship, pick up only" so you don't have to deal with packing/shipping

The first thing I did after getting my IX MR was look for OEM VIII rims to use in the winter. I looked for a few days and was fortunate enough to buy some for only $350. You should have no trouble getting at least that much for yours.

Well if you go light enough you can increase both bling and power & handling ever so slightly. e.g. Ce28n

LICP, O2 housing, Zeitronix, Tune, Fuel pump = no rims!
i'll just go with Team Dynamic Racing in a year or so

you could always powder coat your stock wheels that looks really good on white evos and only cost like $40 a wheel...
