That's what I thought too.

 

I was able to do 46 seconds flat in Grand Turismo 4 (using the Takata NSX). Yay me =) NSX race machines are just way too fast, NSX definitely has one of the best chassis designs intended for something like time attack (as compared to the 4 door Evo which has a high center of gravity because of the tall steel unibody).

 

its cool though. with the big underbody and higher center of gravity, then we can use the gutter technique

 

Props to HKS!! I think I have a record of 52 sec with my NSX on GT4.

 

That was a Super GT500 race car with full slicks. That record does not count.

 

I agree that the NSX are nice, but in race term, I don't think the chasis is that great. In JGTC the Toyota Supra now lexus sc430 and the 350Z beat it all the time. I hardly ever see an NSX at the Tsukuba time attack. I've seen S14, S15 silvia, GTR of course, WRX STI, Evo but I hardly ever see a NSX

Don't get me wrong, the NSX is nice but for 100K and you only get 280-300 hp and only V6. I rather get a porche or Z06.

 

If they put full racing slicks on the HKS CT230R it can probably match the NSX record.

yes but he said gt2340 not gt230R it says on the vid that the turbine is a gt2340 turbo.

 

That guy is wrong and the vid is wrong. Maybe you heard and saw it wrong too.

 

It's called the CT230R. Like what scorke said the 23 part means it's 2.3L.

the fastest record prior to this wasnt the cyber evo, it was the previous HKS trb02. The cyber evo is def in the top category tho. And yea i believe the NSX holds the all time record on that track. That nsx took those corners like nothing..amazing stuff damn jgtc machines...eat ur heart out nascar
