51 sec are you sure about that?

I thought the last time it was broken was 54 sec flat by Cyber Evo.

About the CT 230, in one of the Japanese magazine that I have, it says that after the crash the switched from the HKS GT3037 to a GT3240. I'm not sure about the HP that it has on the video (Filter at work won't let me see it), but in the magazine at the time of the Tokyo Auto Salon, it only 560.

I can be wrong but that's what I got from the Japanese magazine.

 

I'm not an expert at time attack events so please correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as I know, 51 sec run was by ARTA sponsored NSX that competes in JGTC series.
I believe this particular car has twin turbo charged engine rated at 500 hp as per the series rule and runs on full slick tires.
This NSX would not be allow to compete with the cars like the HKS one because it does not fit the same category.
The best street tired prepared nsx's time is 57sec range.
If your whole intention is to break the track record with no regulation whatsoever, just put a Fomula One car.
This NSX does not belong in same event.
