Problems with my Evo after Collision repair (heh)

Well I just got my EVO9 back from the body shop every thing is nice and it looks great...however...now my wireless remote, radio, clock, and buttons on the door that lock and unlock the doors do not work (the window buttons are fine). They had to take the door off for the repair and wires were disconnected and then reconnected when fixed...I'm thinking that this cut the power circuit to the security system of my evo...the car now might think it is stolen so these things don't work...is the only thing I have to do is reprogram my keyless remote or is it more serious??

what should I do Help!

go back to the body shop and complain. They should have fixed all that. obviously they didn't do the good job on wiring.

did the front part of your car get hit?

I got my car back from bottom shop after over 35 days, and when I got it I had the following problems:

1. Horn did not work
2. SRS light was was on (my air-bag was not deployed from the accident)
3. My radio did not work
4. My hi-beams did not work

Brought it back to the body shop, and they found a few wiring harnesses that were shot. It cost the insurance company an extra 1200$ to fix everything.

But definetely bring it back. The body shop is responsible for ensuring that the car is in working order before they give it back to you.

Good Luck

How did they messup on your paint...my paint seems to have swirl marks all over it now...it seems like they tried to dry and buff my car with sandpaper (or something like it)

Ah...well they this if all the other electronics are working fine....ground the 1st pin on the OBD2 port on your car...then hit the emergency hazard button on the dash six times...within 10 secs after pressing the hazard button six times, press the lock button on you remote twice....this should reprogram your remote
