everyone always cites that corn base ethanol is bad... like we didn't already know...

now let's start thinkin' outside the box, let's grow sugar cane, let's use corn stalks, let's use them ALL and then use the left overs for diesel AND THEN let's grow that ethanol producing algae in all kinds of man made pools across the lands of the united states and on top of buildings. and then let's make every window in every major city that sees sunlight a solar panel... now we're getting someplace hahahahha

1) E85 - Not enough production to meet the supply needs
2) biodiesel - Very interesting, and lots of power... plus you can make the fuel in your garage for cheap. the big problem I see is that your exhaust smells like a McDonalds
3) Hydrogen - Too costly to produce
4) Electricity - yeah, let's increase the lead in our groundwatter supply

Personally, I think we're all looking at this energy crisis from the wrong perspective. Our engines, even the most efficient WASTE a HUGE percentage of the power potential of the fuel consumed. Where is this energy lost? In heat... Heat from the combustion event and heat from friction. Why do you have a radiator? To shed much of this lost energy to the outside. We should focus our efforts on getting every last bit of energy from the fuel. Increase efficiency, and fuel consumption goes down, and greenhouse gasses go down. Done on a wide scale, and we may even be able to match our useage to production (the earth hasn't stopped producing oil just because we started pumping it)

Side note on Greenhouse gasses: When It snowed 6"s here in Wisconsin a couple weeks ago (IN APRIL), I was outside spraying hairspray and R-12 shouting at the sky "Where are you global warming?!?!?!?!"

Current man made global has very little to no impact in global temperatures. Al Gore is a scam artist.

Please watch this documentary, people.

Current battery technology limits the potential of a trully practical EV.

how do you know it has no impact? and why is the ice in polar regions receding?

there is an effect, what's not determinable is FROM WHERE the effect is caused.

global warming is FACT it's pure and simple physics, the only thing that can be politically debated is HOW MUCH IT AFFECTS.

global warming IS responsible for the temperature rising... that's by definition. IS GREENHOUSE GAS GLOBAL WARMING responsible and for how much... if you wanna debate that go right ahead and there's no good evidence either way. every one thing you say one way there's something that can be said the other way. but guess what the scientists are saying...

I was talking about the impact of man made global warming. Watch the documentary and you will understand the bigger picture of what I'm talking about.

There is global warming, but it's mostly caused by natural forces, not by man.

Global warming and global cooling is part of the Earth's natural weather cycle. It will happen even if human are not around.

trinydex, you seem to be the type of guy that likes to learn the truth, so please watch the documentary.

Hell- maybe they'll get so strict to the point where, like 30 year old cars, we won't have to smog them anymore and so we can do whatever our little hearts desire. No cat?- that's fine, you're smog exempt!

The Evo X is the best looking Evo in my opinion. It will most likely be the highest performing Evo of all time.
