as far as popping off, yeah. all IC pipes pop off from time to time. Its a common thing. Scarey as hell the first time it happens but you get used to it. Just part of having a turbo car. in fact a friend of mines ams licp came off while i was in the car about 2 weeks ago. but seriously that has nothing to do with the design. later on i'll most likely switch to ams or buschurs.

Anyhow the LICP i have didn't cause the problem. the clamp did.

New clamp + Hairspray on the pipe end.... Usually works pretty good.

As far as the clamp breaking, most likely was over tightened or possible manufacture defect. Lets see those pics

Gotta be careful with the last gen of Cobras. An exhaust, pulley swap, reflash, and they'll trap 125.

are you a tool salesman or something? i have tools at home.

spdracerut: heh as intake/exhaust/pulley/tune. he claims he's stock but we'll see.

after i heard him dynoing at 480whp i figured i need to do something. i planned to lose but i didn't think it would be THAT bad. so im put the 9 turbo in and im getting a friend to weld a bung into my downpipe so i can install the wideband i have, do some logs and then get jestr to tune it over email. i'd put my cars life in his hands any day.

im hoping that the 9 turbo can bring me to around 115-116 traps on pump (crappy mr gearing slows me down) and then maybe 118 traps on race gas. that should put me fast enough to pull him at the track.
