Hey guys I just bought a WW JDM rear bumper for $400. Its a pearl white and planning to get it re-painted to match the 2006 USDM white. I got a couple quotes already..one for 380(dealer) and one for 200(non-dealer). Is 200 a good deal?

 

i would say 200 is a good deal for me with clear coat and everything of course.

 

dealer qoute was about 290

and my friend will do it for 100, if i supply him with the paint

 

200 is what mine would go for.

 

Should be around $250-$300 for just the bumper.

I would also say that $200 is a good deal but make sure that they are aware of your expectations before they start on the job!

 

and make sure they dont paint the black part white, as i have seen this done before

 

^^ Yep I've seen this happen as well. SPECIFICALLY STATE you do NOT want the lower portion with the strakes painted. That would suck.

anything close to $300 is highway robbery lol ... ur not painting a high end luxury car!

 

Pretty much nailed it right there.......250 would be the max you should spend
