i had the APR front wind splitter for 2 days and slightly clipped a curb and broke the brackets off, then 4 days later having not fixed it was driving down the highway and the entire wind splitter along with my bottom part of my bumper ripped off and that's how my car sits today.

i bought mine from JDP engineering, its a ralliart copy, good price, fitment was good and it really doesnt sit any lower than my stock lip does at all. The SE lip sits a hell of a lot lower then the stock one does... id say almost a full inch.

I have a Varis carbon lip from Evo Dave's bumper, its definitely beat up, but still looks great! My car is retardedly low, eventually I'm going to smack a squirrel or something and shatter it. Oh well.
If it's a pure CF lip, then it will be fairly durable. The problem is that a lot of the more affordable "CF" lips use a fiberglass backing and are therefore more prone to cracking.
