From personal experience, I have noticed that my Evo consumes 0W40 more quickly than 10W60, especially when running in track days where my rpms stay between 5000 rpm and 7000 rpm (I'm running HKS 272 cams).
That is why I had concerns over the use of lower weight oils for competitive use, or when used with 20G-LT setups, large injectors, and running high rpms and boost (2 bar).
