upper intercooler pipe seemed a lil loose. the bracket was crooked, and so was the mesh part connnecting to the metal. i tightened it and the problem seems to be fixed. started it up two times more and it started fine.

well i have been driving it with minimal boost, hitting it hard enough for 5 psi every now n then going up hills n stuff. but if i get on it harder it stutters and sputters and you can tell something is wrong. plus the starting up problem still persists. this is drivin me crazy

How long have you had the walbro installed? The o-ring on the pump might not have seated correctly and its losing its pressure in the fuel system (a.k.a its prime) everytime you turn the car off, so when you go to restart the car it has to re-prime the system which may explain the delayed start. As far as the spitting and sputtering it may be the fuel pressure. When you installed the walbro, did you upgrade the FPR? Or it may be another boost leak. I would do a boost leak check just to make sure.

you are 100% right topnotch.. it has to prime everytime. yup. the walbro has been in there for 2 months, and im tuned for it of course. if fpr = fuel pumnp regulator. i doont honeslty know what that is. i didnt change it though. just changed out the stocker pump. ill check the lil black o ring and get back to you. thank yoyu!!

lol ^ ya i really do need to change em. im tapped for cach right now. even though its like 8 bucks i dont even havce that. im in between jobs and bout to start at home depot thursday lol not that anyone cares but ya. soi took off my fuel pump and i see that at the top of the walbro the o ring which was encased in this black thing with 4 grooves in it has slid to the bottom of the part where you slide on the "o" ring. for some reason the black thing with grooves teared in half causing the o ring to slide down. how do i run my car now without this black piece that covered the o ring

so it loooks like this now, it has that white garment (sp) from the original pump, and under that is the black o ring. is that correct or no?
