just read through the instructions again online. it said to use the walbro o ring OR the stock GROMMET. i used both. so well see wehat happpens this time

 

i had the same exact problem, i changed my plugs and all was fine after

 

its alllll good now. finalllllly. the damn piece broke that went above the white garmmet on the top of the pump. plus i had the white above the black garmmet and the o ring, which i didnt even need. so it works fine now with the white garrmet on the bottom and the broken black piece on top of it. the black piece fits into a real tight space so the crack in it doesnt effect it any mnore, but it didnt when i had it on wrong... thanks for all the help

I'm just wondering why he's dressing up his fuel pump with black and white garmmets.. but I see the problem... it shouldn't be wearing black this late in the year anyways..
