Talking Hit the Dyno yesterday with my new mods.

Before I had 271/270 with 93 octane, a safc 2, drop in K&N panel filter, testpipe and Pruven axle back. Boost was stock at 1.3 bar tapering between 1.1 and 1.2 bar. To achieve those #’s the a/f ratio was leaner than I liked in the low to mid range.

This graph is with 93 octane, a MBC set at 1.4 bar tapering to 1.3 in 3rd gear, Ultimates 3” t-back exhaust with testpipe, grounding cables, no lid on airbox and safc tuning. A/f ratio is a lot better in the low to mid range. Tuning this car with the afc is a *****. The a/f is very inconsistant from run to run.

Crap, I can't post the sheet!!! Well any ways I hit 289/271. If someone can host the sheet I'll send it to you.

Hey good numbers! I see you finally installed that boost controller and downpipe. Was your A/F below 11.5 above 6000 rpm?

What kinda dyno is this on? those are pretty good numbers for a dyno dynamics.. but about normal for a dynojet.

Yeah I finally got around to it and installed all the goodness. With the mbc 1st and 2nd gear spikes to 1.4 than tapers to 1.2 bar. 3rd gear holds 1.4 a little longer than drops to 1.3. 4th gear holds 1.4 pretty much all the way to redline. The a/f is between 11.0 and 12.0 across. Had to add fuel in the low to mid range with the afc to get it right. Oh, it's a dyno jet 248c.

If those numbers were posted on a dyno dynamics they would be @ 338 on a dynojet.

Stinkapuss -

Very nice, @ 75 HP increase over stock with modest modifications. Are you still using the dyno at Altered Atmosphere?

Adjustable cam timing will be the key to the next significant increase or you can do the cams at the same time for bigger numbers.

Yes, I dyno'd at Altered Atmosphere. I'm thinking about cams but thats going to be to expensive for me right now. I just discovered a serious exhaust leak problem I'm having so I have to fix that and get back to the dyno. Sucks that I tuned it with an exhaust leak. That throws the a/f ratio all over the place.
