i'm debating between a Yellow EVO or the Blue By You....

It'll be a tossup when the time comes.

I am a very fashy guy so i will buy a flashy color....yelow or blue will do it for me, but maybe more so the yellow.

For those of you who own Yellow EVO's how's the paint color holding up? any fading?

In my opinion, not anyone can get away with driving a yellow car, boring people for instance. Yellow is a car for someone who's got personality, I guess the yellow just acts as an extension of it. My .02, no hate'n.

 

They are ugly as crap!

I'm on my 3rd Yellow car... Had two Integra Type R's, both in yellow and moved onto the EVO. I had all intentions of actually moving on to a Black EVO, but this was the only available one at the time.

Sometimes I get up and wish I had bought the black one - others I don't. Like one person said, you either hate it or you love it.

 

I could've gotten a yellow for about $1500 less than my white Evo, but I figured I would get tired of yellow after a year or two. I would have liked to see a charcoal and a navy blue and maybe that purplish-gray that the Galant VR4s used to come in...

 

My last car, Integra type R, was yellow. That was the nicest yellow of all time in my opinion. The yellows now are just too dull or too bright. I got white cuz I already had a yellow car and I feel the Evo to big to be yellow.

 

My friends call yellow cars "Hey look at me". More yellow cars are out now from Cavaliers to Escapes. Personally, I wouldn't buy one, but it may fit the personality of some folks out there. I know a guy who had a '72 El Camino back in the day -- folks knew who he was 'cause it was the only one in town like that.

IMHO, Blue-by-You is a nice stand-out color without going over the top. By I'm partial :-)

I love my white, it contrasts the cf and the black in the car which looks the best.The best colors are yellow,red,and white. But if anything happens to my car and it needs to be repainted im thinking about what ever color the evo MR is cause that is a mean *** color.

 

I generally don't like yellow cars, and I especially don't like the Evo yellow (though it isn't as bad as the WRX yellow!).

One of the main reasons that I don't like yellow cars is the extra attention they get (with red cars) from the police. I was pulled over at least a couple of times per month in my red fd. I was pulled over 3 times in 4 year in my black cobra, and zero times in my silver Evo. And it's not like I drove my fd faster...

my buddy got pulled over way more in his yellow SLK (don't ask....) then he does in his black Z06 or bby Evo - yellow & red just stand out to much...

 

who cares about the police, yellow is an awesome car!!! all my toys are yellow!!! my evo, eclipse, gsxr 600z, and banshee!! i hope they make the 06 skylines in yellow!

 

All you schmucks cryin about "i hate yellow, and "yellow is too flashy" please wake up. That's why they have different colors. We all have different tastes as humanoids. If it weren't for the pleasure/feel good portion of the brain we'd all drivin' Camrys. I like yellow and that's all that matters. What anyone else thinks has as much weight as helium. Blue Evo 8: the yellow paint is not the same quality as my mom's Lincoln.
