Why are the yellow EVO's not selling?

Global on Rt 22, N plainfield NJ has 5 yellow EVOs' sitting in a row right out front. They have all been there for well over a month. Even the red one they had when I got my car in early April is still there. They were asking sticker since day one, so it's not a pricing thing.

My two local dealers have a total of 3 Yellow, 2 red and 1 black (but with no sunroof---can you say hot interior).

I'm not sure if it's the fact that more yellow were built or more likely that it just isn't that popular a color. I know it can look good but personally I'm not a fan of yellow and it also seems like a trendy color that may in time not only look less attractive but also not be worth as much later.

I also think the other colors look really nice, even the blue (which I'm also not nuts about). The car looks great in black, silver, white, red and again even blue and yellow.

My dealer has had a yellow one in the showroom for a few months now. Every time I'm up there it seems that there's a different girl checking it out and in every case the salesman (or maintenance schedule) seems to scare them away.

I've also seen that at the auctions there are a ton of yellow only. I guess some of the dealers are dumping them at the auctions already. We have a local used/exotic car dealer that has a yellow one from the auction on the lot for $32K. Not sure about the miles on it.

Time will tell.

These colors are good to look at, but get old when you own one.

I would never own a red car.. i was gonna get the sliver but it was the demo car.. and i was not gonna get that one.. the only other car was the red.. while it is a nice red, i hate red cars..

So i got a yellow one.. the reason most people dont want the yellow i think is cause all of the yellow OZs running around.

I wish they had had the blue when i went to get mine.

I wouldn't touch a yellow Evo with a ten foot pole. I would stick with some of the other colors because of resale value and not many people wanna look at a yellow car everyday. If i was in a position to get a Evo I would get silver or blue. But, there is a *** for every seat.

Yellow stands out. Cops can spot a yellow car before others. I own yellow and love it. I chose yellow to be different. Guess I will be since it appears that yellows are sitting on the lot.
Wow, yellow must be a great color, look at the smilies. If you cant rel8, please don't h8.

I could have got a yellow but I really don't want to be noticed by the law because of my car being so bright. I think yellow and red stand out too much.

In my opinion the yellow is a girle color... I would choose the Rally Red or BluebyYou. Yellow never sat well with me on any car.

Yellow wasn't my first choice, but I'm really liking it now that I have it. And this is from a guy who, including cars bought for the wife, has purchased 3 black cars, 4 silver cars, and 1 white car. Maybe it's just a mid-life crisis, but I do like it.

I remember when someone asked if I was having a mid-life crisis when I was talking about buying the Evo/STi/RX-8/S4/S60R/CTS V Series. I said "Hell yeah it's a crisis, I gotta buy somethin' with 4 doors!" My second child could not have come along at a better time

Compared to all other cars out there, the Evo is an exotic. For the girlie comment, keep it to yourself. What if I were Mrs. Decibel instead of Mr. Decibel? Would it be appropriate?
