I am either going to trade deck lids with someone who has a base model (no spoiler at all) or get a carbon fiber one. I have been looking everywhere for a carbon fiber deck lid but the only one I have found so far they are not trying to sell them ($1100). If I was to trade with someone who has a base model, what would a fair price be? I would trade my rear deck lid with the big spoiler for the base model deck lid and some cash. How much would be fair?

Is it possible to just swap the spoilers (little one for the big one) instead of the whole lid? Do the screw holes or whatever line up? There is currently no Evo w/ the small spoiler (w/c is the standard feature) in the US; I wanted one and they just don't have it. Mitsu might even stand a chance to sell more Evo's if they made some available w/ the small spoiler -- the big one turns too many people off -- w/c isn't necessarily a bad thing.

wires and cables?
What about the trunk release cable easy to disconnect/ reconnect? I also noticed that the OZ spoiler has a third brake light. I assume there's no wireing on the Evo for that.

the trunk release cable is very easy to disconnect and reconnect, u just pull the spring back and pull the metal thing up and its off, hardest part is taking all the plastic clips off. Also the evo does come with wiring for the 3rd brake light in the trunk. Anyone wanna trade trunk lids with me?? I'll give u my oz lid for your evo lid and some cash!!!!

Why can't we just trade spoilers and have them repainted? I've read another thread in here where the guy was able to use the same holes and modified the center post on the oz spoiler so that he didn't have to use it on his EVO.
