i am getting my ECU back from AMS tomorrow after it got ecuflashed, and took Chris a while to figure out the ECU because it is none US spec evo, and this is the first time he do it, but he managed to tune it anyway ..
Our ECUs are diffrent than the US spec.

now that i got a base ecuflash and weather Diffrences between here and USA and it is usually Hot in here .. i got an AFC installed, not tuned. shall i go ahead and Tune the AFC also ? any Benifit from it compined with the ecuflash? ..
i am open for suggestions .

 

If you are worried, purchase a wideband, and do some logs with Evoscan and see if you go lean or knock at all.

 

Yea I would buy a Wideband, and use the AFC to adjust from the wideband readings.

 

this is why you have an intake air temp sensor to make changes due to weather for you.

 

but yes for further gains tune that damn afc!

 

than k i will tune the AFC also, but gotta buy a wideband first.
i just recieved the ECU .. and installed it, and the first thing i noticed about the car is the change of the Exhaust Note.. totally diffrent ..
and no more cams lobe ..

i have the MBC now which i havnt installed yet because i was untuned with bolt ons ,but gonna install it during this week,.. but now that i got an ecuflash, shall i keep off boost untill i install the MBC ? since im tuned for it.

Jestre tuning has tuned flash my ecu and a friends several times, just incase ur looking for non-us spec evo tuners.

how do you like the cams?

 

Cams the best mod i bought so far . ! made noticeable increase even untuned slight lobe but now that is ecuflashed, not noticing the lobe anymore, gonna test the car tomorrow .

i have a friend in Kuwait having Problems with his Vishnu ecuflash, his af ratio is off the scale at 10s ..
