4000 Miles and burnt clutch

Ok well I think my clutch is kaput. I broke the front motor mount, the one on the center bar under the car by the radiator, So I stoped driving the car hard because it would just shake like crazy and was saving up for a new set of mounts. To keep it from bouncing when I started off I would feather the clutch more and let it slip alittle and ride it out. So what happened is its nice and burnt. I put the car in 4th and when I got on the gass at around 40mph the rpms went up to about 5000 and then I let off and they sort of just dropped down to 3000rpms. I repeated it to check and make sure. yeah its the clutch, I'm just pissed, I know the dealer won't warranty it and its my fault but I don't wanna change the clutch already. Stupid car falls apart if you drive it hard. So other than complaining I am here to ask how long do you think it would take to change the clutch. Is it like a 9 hour job, because right now I am busy swapping a sr20det into my 240, and my miata is also out of commission. So this burnt clutch is gonna have to last me about 2 weeks if not more.

You must really hate your car? Ease up a little. No wonder Mitsu hates our cars

Stop ****ing up your car. This isn't an Indy car.

No shyte its your fault. How the f*** did you break the motor mount.
Also don't complain about the car falling apart after 4K, its your driving
not the car.
Most Evo owners beat on their cars from time to time...so its not the car!

dude... just go buy 5.0 mustang, man. sure the occasional quarter mile run is alright..... but if you are using it for a dragster, first thing you should of done is save money right off the bat for a new clutch.

the evo wasn't built from the factory for the quarter, so if you don't have mods to support it for the quarter and you don't have the know how of launching a awd car, you shouldn't be doing it.
