suggestions please....

Hi guys, im in iraq right now and when i get back im looking for about 500 to the wheels on pump gas no meth or nitrous. I think the best way for me to do that is stroker and 35r. I am curious though as if im gonna need to upgrade the transmission and how streetable it would be. It would just be a weekend driver pretty much. So anybody that would know anything about what im trying to do i would greatly appreciate if you guys could give a little advice or feedback because right now this is the only motivation i have right now in iraq...thanks guys...

First, let me start of by saying thanks for protecting our country overseas, you have my gratitude. Back to your question though, the trans itself is capable of handling alot of power, but the weakest point is obviously the clutch, this will have to be upgraded. For 500 whp, you should look at a twin disc clutch, such as ACT or Exedy. Also as a preventative measure you should upgrade your axles to handle the increase in torque, like Driveshaft Shop axles. Hope this helped. Good Luck.

Exedy Twin Disc HD FTW! My ACT (in my opinion) destroyed my transmission. Whats your budget like? There are tons of options!

Pretty sure this is impossible (remember, stroker's don't make more hp they make more torque than a 2.0). 450whp is a better pump goal and even that is no sure thing.

500whp on pump gas would require a huge turbo no smaller than a 37R, and it won't happen with a stroker. You'll need a built 2.0, and it will spool extremely late.

Based on your track record, you shouldn't even be considering something like this.
