OK TALKED TO THE DEALER TODAY!!!

Because we are a car dealership, we purchased this car with 1300 miles (had 1600 when broke down). Turns out it is the transmission, a $5,000 fix! RIDICULOUS!! We know the dealer that had it before us installed the transfer case wrong which caused this to fail on us. This is not under warranty either.

Currently we are working on trying to get this under warranty or get the other dealership to pay for the their mistakes because this is proven by an evo specialist.

My friend said to check out www.sheptrans.com
Brand new trans with all updates and basic street/strip set up $2750+$85 shipping.
(If worse comes to worse.)

Lets keep hoping everything will go for the right turn here.
I am so pissed off, I miss my baby!

LAST SITE OF HER.

I would see if its possible to just get money out of the dealership, and then go right to Shep.

Good luck with the dealership. I hate dealing with them.

This dealership sounds like a good dealership. They should get the other dealership to pay for it or get it warrantied. If worse comes to worse maybe they will install the shep tranny for free. Wish you the best of luck.

It is the transmission. The dealer who had it before us ****ed up the transfer case installation which cause all of this to happen as a snowball effect.

I am so ticked off, you don't know.

Hope everything works out. I have a questions tho. You bought the car with 1300 miles, did the dealer disclosed that the car had drivetrain problems before? It most likely did if they had to drop the transfer case.
