RIP Evolution --- [PICS INSIDE] PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

So yesterday I am driving to Ohio from Pennsylvania. About a 2 hour drive. The EVO is running great, I mean perfect. I am doing about 75 or so down the turnpike in 5th gear and all of the sudden it was like my 5th gear had turned into neutral, absolutely nothing there. No funky sounds, grinding, nothing; was seriously just like neutral! So we have about 70 more miles to go...is the car going to be ok? Because it was making no noises or anything and the speed limit was 60 from there on out, I just drove in 4th gear until about 10 miles later a sound grew worse and worse, still running ok though. So I pull over at the toll booth knowing something was definitely now wrong!! After sitting there for a second, I tried to put the car in reverse, wouldnt even go into reverse, or fourth, or second, which is the entire bottom row on the gear shift. What do you guys think is wrong here?? Cousin thinks that the gearbox is fried, another says that the bar coming fron the shifter is bent, somebody said there was no transmission oil....to me none of these seem accurate so I have came to ask the pros!! tell me what is wrong.

[PICS BELOW]

SADDEST SIGHT EVER!!

What kind of sound was it making? I'd start checking the simple things first.

Only 1,650 miles...was absolutely brand new basically. I don't think it was the clutch because right when 5th gear slipped out I pulled over and then I was able to pull out fine 1 through 4 fine, no clutch problems. The dealership should be calling today so I will keep you guys posted.

Is that the miles on the car or clutch? If the clutch was just installed I would take it back to the shop that installed it and have them try to find the problem, Because something does not seem right.
