yeah the lojack guy and dealership actually pestered me at work so they could come install it so maybe it is time sensitive. I only had the car for a week and they were really adamant about not waiting to put it in.

You should have a 'DUE BILL' from the dealership. It's legally binding. If you have a LOJACK entry in your sales contract you also have legal grounds. Very easy to handle in court. Most dealership do not want the bad PR from such cases. Talk to the GM about getting in handled before you go to court. Don't go in screaming, be diplomatic. If you don't get any answers/action take them to court. Any legal fees you incure can be added to the claim.

Most WE OWES/DUE BILLS say work must be completed within 30 days. Still, money did change hands. Good luck.

I had mine installed like 6 months after the fact... and then 6 months later the correct one installed (early warning). They gave me the runaround for a while, but in the end it all worked out .

Very well put. I concur to everything he said. As the phrase goes, "you can attract more bees with honey".

Don't raise hell - it's very simple. Talk to the GM and explain the situation. If he says no, then say this will be posted on the Evom forums and turned into the BBB. If I don't hear anything within a week or two of that, then it will be a court matter.

Be calm about it and follow through with it. If it reaches court, they will end up paying your court costs and get the bad publicity to boot. I doubt it would go that far though.

When I worked @ a dealership, some people left for 2 months on vacation and we just installed it later. Usually if it takes awhile, Lojack will come to your house like stated above. Call Lojack before you raise hell, and if not, tell us when your gonna be on Judge Judy.

i work for a dealer is called a due bill.. you will get it install just raise a little hell with the general manager. if not tell them to give you your money back. if they dont do that then say you will report then to the DMV for contract fraud. i had a dealer put window etching on my evo and didnt tell me and when i went back to sign they had it all ready for me. well me being in the business thought everything was cool. well not. they chrged me 2200.00 for it needless to say i was a little mad. i got my money back and found out that all i had to do was contact the dmv and bam doors closed for fraud.

Same here, I purchased my car through Autoland and I also purchased Lojack through them. I had my unit installed in my garage a week later.

Call/email Lojack. A month is way too long.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Our cost is about $250. You are best getting your money back for the service they never installed. Give that finance manager a nice little deduct from his next comission paycheck.

Is that for price of early warning? Or basic Lojack package?
