Question Sunroof Headliner Removal?

For those of you that have removed your sunroof headliner (part that slides over the glass), how did you get the piece off? I've removed my entire headliner but I can't seem to figure out how you remove the sliding sunroof piece...anybody have some suggestions?
Thanks

You have to take the glass out first. Then there should be a couple clips holding the shade in from the top.

Shouldn't be to bad. I have not taken one out of an Evo yet.

Just vent the glass open to the top, there should be 6 screws of adjustment, 3 on each side. There may be a plastic cover to hide them, havent looked yet.

Take those screws out from inside the car, then ump out and remove the glass carefully.

You should see a couple tabs on each side to remove the shade. This is exactly how it is set up on Webasto, Harada and a few other brands of roofs.

Wow it's been a while...I basically just bent down the back metal part then pulled as hard as I could until it came out...it worked, but now the headliner makes a pretty bad noise everytime I open/close it haha
