PB Blaster then heat the **** out of the bolts, then use a breaker bar. If you break the bolt, just go buy a new one. Good luck.

Got the passenger side nut off finally! BUt driver side still don't wanna budge. I got one of them nut removers for stripped nuts. I rented an impact gun and that didn't work out too well. Anyway, as I was trying to loosen the nut on the driver side with the breaker bar and nut remover I friggin kinked the mid pipe just behind the flange . Don't ask me how. Not that bad though and I hope it won't affect exhaust flow that much(now I just added more back pressure ). Any way to fix a kinked exhaust? Man this is turning out to be fun and aggravating at the same time

3 days and still no success! whoa! what helped me was to keep the exhaust from moving. have someone else hold it in place. i think it absorbs alot of the torque when its moving. im wimpy and me and my wimpy friend got mine off without being on a lift

Since I don't have a garage to work in, the only place I get to work on the car is on the driveway when the weather is nice. Garage is filled with gym equipment and tools so no room. And everytime I do work on the car and don't succeed at completing a job(such as this) I'll get away from it(just because I'm too frustrated) and come back to it the next day weather permitting of course. Wish I had a 2 post lift on my driveway...that would be awesome!
