272s in/ex cams
Cam-gears set at 0 (for now)
ARP head Studs
Full 3" inch exhaust
Buschur Intake Filter
ACT clutch
255 Fuel Pump
Apexi AVC-R set at 22psi
custom made 3" upper IC piping (LICP to be made w/ turbo install)
and Jester Tuned

Now, I have a custom made 50 trim that I just can't wait to put it on.

my question is, what would be a safe boost to run with stock injectors?? (I will tune it again w/ Jester after the install)
and BTW, what is the limit on the stock injectors??
and where's a good place to get bigger injectors, fuel rail, ect...??

It would not make sense to install it before getting injectors. Injectors are easy to get, so just buy some and install them. You don't need a fuel rail or anything else.

If you try to run that turbo with stock injectors, you'll have to keep the boost at 20psi or lower, but there's no exact answer. You have to log the car to see where the injector duty cycles are.

 

I was thinking about 18psi to be safe,.. i will dyno tune w/ wideband and everything to make it safe,.... I should be getting the injectors in about 2 weeks or so and tune again.

what size of injectors should I get?? my goal is to reach at least 450whp with meth and supporting mods.

880s would do the trick with room left to spare. 780s would probably do it easily, too, since you'll be using meth, but the price is the same between 780s and 880s. Go with whatever Jestr prefers - he's the one tuning it.

I don't think it makes sense to get it tuned with stock injectors only to then install injectors and retune 2 weeks later. A wee bit impatient perhaps?

 

From a mere logic point of view, you're risking your engine, givin it more cause to detonate.. You got a 50Trim to keep 18psi?? I'm planning 28psi on my own mods, check my specs below..

I got a 50 trim to keep at 18psi WITH stock injectors..... i guess I will not boost untill I get the injectors and tuned..... but I do need to get that 50 trim in there (I already have a buyer for the stock turbo and manifold) money for injectors.

 

Waz996, are you planning on running meth or c16 w/ 28psi??

Sp.Dreams: Actually i'm planning this on regular fuel, but i'm no expert really, i'll wait till my tuner gets his own say about that..

As for running on methanol or C16, really i got the Trim50 to use only pump gas.. They're too expensive and hard to find in UAE, i dont wanna race..
