I might look at going to the one in Illinois since it is just a couple states above me.

 

Just come to the socal one, it would be a good road trip for you .

 

Sorry, trying to save as much leave as I can for retirement. Coming to the SoCal one would require me to use up leave days while the one in Illinois wouldn't because of the closer distance.

I cant wait.. I drove up from AZ last year and I will again this year... Its well worth the drive and I could use a little weekend vacation...
If anyone else is driving from out of state and staying the night where are you staying??
I think I'm going to just book two nights at the Hampton Inn thats in Cypress its only $99 a night for a fairly nice hotel
