Reason number 100 why I should live in California.
I wish I could be there.

they gave away some prime stuff last year. Would have been a lot nicer if 1 out of every 3 evos wasn't doing wide open throttle BOV runs up and down the street attracting all the wrong sorts of attention.

With all those modded Evo's there, it would seem like a warranty voiding orgy fest for Mitsubishi.

well its more like its a ticket waiting to happen...but i will probably be there. and it is absolutley the ONLY reason to live in Socal with an EVO...gas is expensive no tuning shops...at least in san diego... street racing police task force... do you know that there is an actual law in CA that states you cannot modify anything on your car...not even if it has carb...i got a ticket for a modified exhaust...not because it was too loud which it wasnt... but because it was modified

You can count on me being there... the one in Bloomington-Normal, IL that is.

For all you folks in the midwest or the east coast, don't worry if you can't make it to California. The annual Factory MOD event at the old DSM plant is just as good as the MOD out in Cali. Here is the Factory MOD 07 flyer and also another thread with info on the event.

I would probably cover my plate and vin while there.
I would hate to see a day of fun ruined by a bean counter writing down your vin and voiding your warranty.
