this car will be used for drag racing and one of the aims will be to get launch with the front high in the air .
slick are slamed on ... when we get the pics of the front in the air , it will be posted here .

Even with the Supercharger and putting down say 500HP...wouldn't that make it a lot slower than a tweeked 4g63 with a 35trim and some bolt ons and a tune?
Weight? Especially without the AWD...banging the pan on the ground to squish lizards running in the road?

Dude, read the hundreds of post here already The aluminum block LS1 is barely heavier than the iron-block 4G. Furthermore, a blown LS1 is going to put down more than 500hp. LS1s with just H/C/I can easily put down 440rwhp.

Should have phrased that differently. The LS1 is heavier, doesn't have AWD (what other suspension and other was taken off) and has tons more torque especially with SC instead of turbo. So even if it does hook, it will probably point skyward or cactusward instead of straight down the road. Wondering why a nicely modded 4 iron block wasn't gone after? Almost an insult to a mitsu guy...but an LS1 (I have had two cars with, actually looking at another) is quite the engineering feat even more so than the ZR1s.

Just trying to get some info reasoning why and LS1...guess just to be in the club and it is pretty cool.

Kind of depends on the boost capabilities of the SC too. Some only make 30-50 hp.

about the AWD nothing yet ..there looking for a toteld envoy to pull the AWD system of it , but nothing yet .
it will be used for drag racing soon though .

by the way ... those slicks are OK and not hitting the fender at all, as the fenders had to be trimd from inside .
