4g63 for life!

 

Id wait till the X comes out and see how much HP we can get out of em. Plus the release of the X should drop the price of the IX a bit. Hopefully that aluminum MIVEC block can hold up like the 4g63 can!!!

 

If your car is stock, go for it if you can afford it, me I've got 15,000 into mine so trading it obviously isn't an option, the only thing that I wish I had on my 8 is the front bumper of the 9 and I can get one of those aftermarket.

 

I did it for the Following reasons.


I had a 2003 RR VIII with 78K on her.
Breaks had faded bad
Paint was going bad, I mean becommign sand paper and pink
Wing had to be redone.

It had a lot of mods and ran VERY fast but never quite to my liking, the mod path is much more clear now and I would like to start over again.

I got the Friends of Mitsu Deal so I got my MR for VERY cheap
Got a great deal on the trade
My Payments are now less


IMHO the IX kicks the 2003 VIII's but, it really does, much better all around.
