Then you will probably not get any boost spiking issues, but it will still be possible. Your ECU will likely detune itself a bit and lower boost to account for the extra airflow, but once you get the mbc+tune, the car will roar to life.

Still, though, since it's not certain what will happen, you should not install this stuff without a boost gauge.

i would run a tune to be on the safe side.. and for the peace of mind too

 

not a huge ordeal to tune with tbe as you see most ppl say, but it'll maximize the cars potential

you'll be fine, i ran mine with just a TBE for a short period.

 

you seem to have a CBE .. catback Exhaust .. complete ur system with a Downpipe and Cat or Testpipe.. you should know what you have Ordered, just like Wartallon Explained to you .

an MBC would cost $50-90 Depend on Brand ..

Ecuflash tune, depend on what you want .. an E-mail Tune, you have to buy a Tactrix cable i think $80 plus the E-mail Tune $50 ..

or you can do Mail in, where you gotta Take off your ECU and send it to a tuner such as Dynoflash, AMS, JESTR ...etc .. and those vendors do mail ins for $199 .. and 20 whp Guarenteed

a Custom Tune where you gotta Take your Evo up a dyno and a Tuner does some tweeking and this method will let you get the Most out of your tune and Car .. usually costs $300 and up .

dont worry like they said run it like that for a short period just get the boost gauge and tune and you'll be one happy boy.
