Funny thing is, in my my girlfriends town, the same bank got robbed twice in one month and they still haven't caught anyone, yet they sure are good at busting people for speeding, no signals, and loud exhausts. Ah... glad its our tax dollars.

Yea they dont actually protect and serve anybody. I often question the need for the police when I see 3 of them at a time sitting on the onramp of I-5 (where it meets Southcenter in Washington) handing out no-seatbelt tickets for the people coming on the freeway.

I remember when my house was robbed it took 4 hours for them to show up, they must have been busy writing various other, revenue-generating tickets.

the other night i was at the beach down here and a bently continental GT pulls up next to me...the driver obviously drunk...starts reving me...i ignore him because i know the police are in full force at night...when the light turned green he smashed the peddle and was off...then he almost hit an SUV and swerved really hard causing himself to go sideways...he pulled it back together really quick and then took off again...i look to the right and there is a Cop sitting right there...watching...as i approach he flashes his search light on me and then turns it off...like i am doing something wrong... i mean ...this BC GT almost just killed everyone and was doing at least 85+ in a 35 and he didnt get even a glance...and i was the suspicious one...i hate coppers man

They shot and killed the crackhead that was roaming around the neighboring subdivision of mine with a sword. . . also just because they aren't kicking in someone's door 24x7 . . not that those cops do doesn't mean they aren't doing anything.

go spend some money on a tune - your AFRs must be way out of whack if you're fireballing in traffic...
A fireball, as you described, us unburnt (wasted) fuel that hits a hot exhaust (or mani) and burns there...

You're losing power and wasting fuel... NJ has plenty of tuners...

I am tuned, and I don't think I threw a flame. The cop SAYS i did, but I think I would notice. My MR2 used to throw fireballs and it sounded like a gunshot or bomb. People would jump.

Sounds to me like you have a test pipe inside the cat.... which would explain the fireballs. It's pretty easy to shoot small ones and not know it from inside the car. Do you have a BOV vented to atmosphere too? That'll cause fireballs too.

Thank you for the heads-up on Montclair. Also, watch out for Highland Park police if you're ever down in that area and specially if you have tinted windows.

I had something real similar happen to me. I was just cruising through West Chester doing the speed limit and next thing i know there is a cop car behind me and then two cop cars in a matter of minutes. Then of course the lights go on so i pull over. I look in my rear view mirror and see him screaming to turn the car off and put my hands out the window while he was pointing his gun at my window. So confused as to why this is happening i do what he says. He walks up to the window lisence and all that ish. He comes back and says he pulled me over cause my exhaust was way to loud and that he thought there was a warrant out for my arrest which there wasnt. Then he had me explain to him why us guys put exhaust on our car, what it does, and why its so loud. He then handed me my stuff and told me to put the stock exhaust on. I dont get it. The cops blocked off the road as well so no traffic could drive by. Thats the only downfall about our cars. Ive been pulled over before for speeding on the highway while i was being passed by traffic. haha oh well, its a price to pay to have one of the hottest cars.
