anyone else exp. this? I just got my renewal and my bill went up almost 300 for 6 months. They told me it is because the vehicle rating went up. Anyone else??????

btw, i'm 25 going on 26, no points, and i'm with geico.

 

Mine is the same and it was just renewed. It might depend on your company.

 

Mine went down $250.00 this year and will probably go down again when I turn 27 in October. I am hoping mine will be under a grand for the year in 08, just gotta keep driving safe!

every car goes up every year unless you get 21 and 25 then it drops cause you're already paying 4 times more like myself...

nope, 27, and still paying like 120 a month. No complaints on my end. Allstate is still the cheapest i found.

Mine went down like $800 because I just turned 30, have a good driving record in the past couple years, and also I changed it to a seasonal rate since its not my daily driver.

 

Um, i think what he is saying is tht there was almost $300 added to his regular 6 month premium. That's alot.

 

MA rates just went down, i'm psyched. went from 180/m to 130/m even though i got a ticket last year. i'm 27.

mine went up about 60-70 bux for a 6 month period... apparently the "theft/loss" rating went from 3 to 11 and the "injury severity" rating went from 7 to 9... plus i increased coverage. i am with state farm, clear record, and i am 26... turning 27 next month...

 

My 6 month premium went from 960.00 to 1700.00, no changes, no wrecks or tickets. This is Geico. Almost doubled just because of the rating it got. I am def shopping around and hope to hell I can find someone cheaper.

I was with Allstate. It went up $100 for 6mos. this past renewal date, so I started looking online. I found Progressive was half the price (literally....went from $1141/6mos for the 2 vehicles-05 Evo and 04 Honda Pilot) to $571 for 6 mos. 41 yo with no tickets and married.

They also check your credit score, so if you have bad credit you may be paying more...
