You need someone waiting at the timeslip counter, seeing the race on video won't compare to the look on his face when he loses.

run a straight 110 octane @ 23psi! post the video!

With a reasonable tune (I think you said you were tuned for 22psi) and some good highoctane gas you should be just fine running a little more boost, I would not recommend turning it up anymore without seeing the tune and some logs.

Also, don't lay on the 2step, just ease up to it just before you launch. I believe if you lay on it too long the ecu will pickup knock and pull down your timing all the way through first gear. I'll have to verify this though since I don't drag race.....

Kick that DB-9's a$$ then walk over to him and with a smug little grin say "hmm, did something go wrong? I thought you were going to rip my a$$"

The DB9 is a beautiful high-speed touring car, so I wouldn't be surprised if you beat it at the strip. Make the bet for a night with his trophy-wife.

the only problem is the db9 does the claimed 1/4 mile time consistently with its traction control and clutchless tranny. evo does not. you better be a good launcher and shifter he IS going to kick ur azz.

I've you've ran a 12.55 you should easily take him through the 1/8th. DB9 is a low 13 second car at best.

Oh, just run him. 4000 RPM, slip, and go. 1/8th of a mile is your race. Heck if I was out there I would run him myself. I love DB9s, I wish I had one. But I know what is real and you can take this guy. Even if you lose, it won't be by much. So if he does get you by a car length or two you can say... "Wow! That extra $80,000 got you a whole car length."

I also agree with the above posts. I want to see a video of this. My two favorite cars.

Just make sure to ask him if he has any Grey Poupon you could borrow before you smoke him...

"pardon me, but would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?" Remember that old commercial
