Clifford and Viper are both made by the same company, DEI. One of the best investments I made with my car. May not prevent theft 100%, but definitely will make them look somewhere else before messing with the car with the bright blue flashing light.
Second piece of advice is to not have it installed at bestbuy. Get it done right and professionally. Go to Cllifford.com and look for accredited installers.

Sorry to hear about your loss, it's all replaceable. But I know that it still sucks.

Theres a nice viper and a nice clifford alarm for sale here in the private evo fs section.I have a best buy card also but I went there and the service was crappy.Installers looked younger than me too(Im 22).I went with a reputable place around town.

that really breaks my heart to see. it sucks that people just have no respect for anything. not because it's an evo, that would suck for any car. maybe it was a chick who didn't like "da shocka"? sorry, couldn't resist. at least no one was hurt.

Again, sorry to hear about this. It took me two break-ins on my turbo civic before I got a Viper alarm and never had another problem. Weird how that works, but it worked!

The insurance company wont cover it because i have a $1,000 dedutible and it wasnt $1,000 in damages. i pay $350 a month for insurance and the basterds wont even help me out. being 18 and owning a evo is ****in $$$

If I was a millionair I still wouldnt want someone doing that to my car and I wouldnt be like oh well. My stuff is My stuff.
