It would not be the best idea unless you pay cash for the evo, cause you dont know what could or will happen...

I bought mods for the past two cars I have owned before I ever even found the one I was going to purchuse. I don't see the big deal. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I was going to get, so buying the mods did not matter to me.

Ya but whats worst having the car no mods, or having a bunch of parts and you cant get thee car cause of a loan prob or this prob or that... you would then be stuck with a bunch of parts and no car... But if you are 100% positive you will get the car the why not... but thats a risk i cant take, ill just pay the car off then fully do what i want to it...

Any money you have for mods should go towards your down payment.

I bought a light bar, new antenna, and a Mach 1 grille delete and lip before I had my mustang. I knew I didn't wanna drive it around looking stock.

what's the fun in getting a car that you don't like even when it's stock?

I did, I stripped my sti and put the stock stuff back on. I had already worked the deal on the evo and sold my sti parts on nasioc, turned around and bought MBC,fuel pump, turbo back exhaust, hks intake. everything was at the house before the evo except the fuel pump.
