I'm sure David will make it right. He's always squared me away when there was a problem. I probably would have gone with this setup as well but I wanted something quieter so instead I got the HFC and Magnaflow exhaust. It still sounds awesome.

They did only credit me for the cost of their test pipe which was $95 instead of the $130 that I paid to the fabrication shop.

I think that's fair, they aren't responsible for the price it cost you to get one made.

Yeah, I have mine with the bullet in place of the test pipe. It sounds mean, kind of hollowed. ...and I got the V-band. It was the easiest to put on and adjust. I used two jack stands, no problems period. Love it.

Well, it's not really fair. He had to have the test pipe that day to get tuned by AMS, so because of wrong shipment he had to get it done ASAP

BR is responsible for sending him the right part or refunding the money

BR is not responsible for a missed dyno opportunity

any shop would do the same.

Sure is ugly though, looks like my 4 year old brother got crazy with a bunch of scrap e-bay tubing and a welder in the backyard.

And what about all the hassles? The guy has been waiting for the part and gets a wrong one! Has to get it shipped back and then wait to get a new one! Who's paying for all the troubles?

I know it sucks how that worked out but no business is going to compensate you for your "hassles" they owe him the right part or a refund on the part, nothing more. Anything they do beyond that would be nice but you shouldn't expect it.

If you buy an engine from the dealership and get it installed and it doesn't work, do you think the dealership is going to compensate you for your trouble? no, but they'll give you another engine. Unfortunately you'll have to eat the labor costs if you can't do your own work.

same with clutch companies etc... if you get a new clutch and it's the wrong one, they may cover the shipping back and forth but they aren't going to give you anything more than that and the right clutch.

I agree with you. It's not something that has to be done by law or anything. You're right when you say it would be nice, but again the $35 are not worth of putting a stain (even if a little one) on such a big and reputable name like Buschur Racing. That's all I'm trying to say. They would stand out even more if the were to cover his costs
