Rally fun in W. Va

So, this weekend I didn't have any plans...what to do...what to do. Go to West Virginia, find a long, twisty gravel road and have some fun. Had the evo there for 2 days of gravel fun. Enjoy the pics.

+1... Pics look good but I think to be classified as "rally fun" we need some counterstering going on.

I agree, but it is difficult to snap a picture from the outside of the car while driving. Just know I had a blast with tons of e-brake cornering.

What part of WV did you go to? Not sure if you have ever travelled it or not, but RT50 from Grafton to Maryland is a blast. It is paved, but some awesome turns on it. Many 180 and stuff plus very scenic. I def recomend it if it is within a decent distance for ya.

Power sliding would be the most fun way to accomplish the slide, but my first experience with the power slide was to kick up a nasty rock into my passenger rear window. I found that a light application of the e-brake to induce the slide, with the power out was better for less rock damage. You can hear the difference of rocks bouncing off the car, so I took the less damaging route with the e-brake. Besides, as you can see, off course on these roads and you were either in a tree or off a cliff. E-brake slides where easier to induce and control the final outcome. Nuked, this is Gaston road about 5 miles over the border into wv west of winchester(off 522 and 127) 7 miles of unadulerated fun. For a paved road, I also enjoy rt. 15 off the dullus toll road. About 30 miles from the toll road to I-70. Twisty mountain road, a 45 mph speed limit and even an old steel suspension bridge. Classic. Thanks for the driving advice, I have looked up rt. 50 from Grafton to MD and I will make sure that I get out there to drive it. Nothing better than a twisty road, great scenery and an evo, they go together like peanut butter and jelly.
